Client:
"Children, We Will Make It" NGO
Task:
We were tasked with engineering a high-impact digital platform and delivering end-to-end communication strategy for "Children, We Will Make It" — a nationwide advocacy campaign dedicated to elevating public awareness around Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and securing state funding for life-saving treatments.
Core deliverables included full-scale web development, strategic PR and media relations, crisis and public outreach communications, target government affairs messaging, and driving widespread civic participation to mobilize support.
The strategic priority extended beyond mere public education: we needed to generate actionable public demand, aligning parents, media outlets, civic leaders, international partners, and government stakeholders behind a unified policy objective.
Execution:
We initiated the project by engineering a modern web portal that served as the central digital hub for the civic movement. The site featured an intuitive information architecture, housing patient case studies, campaign updates, educational resources, engagement channels, and impact reporting.
Concurrently, our team managed end-to-end strategic communications. We developed an overarching PR framework, coordinated media relations, produced key informational assets, and executed a sustained awareness campaign aimed at elevating SMA into the national healthcare agenda.
A dedicated workstream was focused on government affairs and advocacy. We spearheaded high-level messaging and stakeholder alignment across state institutions, NGOs, medical experts, and international partners—providing robust communication backing to drive key legislative decisions.
This integrated approach culminated in one of Ukraine's most impactful healthcare advocacy campaigns to date. For the first time, the Parliament of Ukraine allocated 300 million UAH in the state budget for SMA therapeutics, establishing a crucial precedent for sustainable state-funded treatment of rare diseases.
